MSC Status
In 1996, ARL HomeComm achieved MSC status, marking a significant milestone in its technological advancement and credibility within Malaysia’s digital landscape. The company played a key role in early internet infrastructure by installing and servicing internet networks for MPSJ and MBPJ. This foundation established ARL HomeComm as a trusted provider in telecommunications and connectivity solutions.
AFP, NFP & NSP Licenses
In 2004, ARL HomeComm obtained AFP, NFP, and NSP licenses, strengthening its capabilities as a comprehensive telecommunications provider. The company played a role in operating the KL Tower while expanding its service reach. ARL HomeComm also supported connectivity by servicing areas such as Kepong Industrial Park and MPSJ, reinforcing its infrastructure presence.
Secured MCMC Project
ARL HomeComm plays a significant role in supporting local authorities through large-scale telecommunications infrastructure initiatives. Under the SPINS Project, the company secured 200 towers, followed by 600 towers in Wilayah Persekutuan in 2014. In 2015, ARL HomeComm expanded further by securing projects across Perak, Kedah, Johor, and Kelantan, strengthening nationwide connectivity.
Secured ILP with DBKL
From 2016 to 2019, ARL HomeComm secured a seven-year Intelligent Lighting Pole (ILP) concession contract with DBKL. The ILP integrates smart street lighting with telecommunications infrastructure to support smart city development. Through this project, ARL HomeComm enhanced Kuala Lumpur’s digital connectivity and urban infrastructure. This milestone reflects the company’s expertise in delivering innovative and sustainable telecommunications solutions.
MPAJ ILP Implementation
Between 2018 and 2021, ARL HomeComm successfully implemented the Intelligent Lighting Pole (ILP) project for Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ). The initiative integrated smart lighting with telecommunications infrastructure to support efficient urban connectivity and smart city development. Through this project, ARL HomeComm strengthened public infrastructure while enhancing digital services for the local community. The achievement demonstrates ARL HomeComm’s capability in delivering innovative and sustainable smart city solutions.
ILP Operations & Maintenance
Since 2019, ARL HomeComm has been entrusted with the operations and maintenance of the Intelligent Lighting Pole (ILP) infrastructure for DBKL and MPAJ. The company ensures reliable performance through continuous monitoring, preventive maintenance, and timely technical support. This long-term responsibility reflects ARL’s commitment to service excellence and sustainable smart city infrastructure.

JENDELA 2 Highway Connectivity Project
As part of Malaysia’s JENDELA Phase 2 initiative, ARL HomeComm is pursuing the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure under the “Di Mana Ada Jalan, Di Situ Ada Internet” programme. The project aims to eliminate connectivity blind spots along highways through the development of strategic telecommunications towers. By supporting nationwide digital connectivity, ARL continues its commitment to enhancing road safety, smart mobility, and Malaysia’s future-ready communications infrastructure.
